Right ans is 2. Eventually the other 5 candles will melt after some time and the other 2 candles have gone out but not melted.

Shouldn’t the answer be 7 and not 2 bcoz the ques is in present tense. Having 2 candles will be future tense. Ques will accordingly be “How many candle will I have?” Just a thought…..

Second answer can be 9 as the 2 candles that go out do not necessarily go out after they r finished. They may have blew out before. So you still have 9 candles left.
Third one is tricky. By other logic you are left with = no of candles u originally had before – 9. They r left with you. 9 of them u have used in one or other way.
But answer 2 is totally incorrect as 7 candles are still lit even if 2 go out after they are finished. They will blow out that is assumption.
