1 Rabbit saw 9 Elephants while going to the river. Every Elephant saw 3 Monkeys going toward the river. Each Monkey had 1 parrot in each hand. How many Animals are going towards the river?

Answer:

1 Rabbit saw 9 Elephants while going to the river, So now we know that 1 animal i.e. rabbit is already going towards the river.

a)1 Rabbit saw 9 Elephants while going to the river so we found 1 animal going to river

Every elephant saw 3 monkeys going towards the river, so from the sentence, it is clear that all the 9 elephants saw 3 monkeys going towards the river.

b)Every elephant saw 3 Monkeys going to river so minimum of 3 Monkeys. so we found 3 more animal going to river.

c) Each Monkey has 1 parrot in EACH hand. So each monkey has 2 parrots ( 2 hands basically). Since monkey is going to river and parrots are in monkey’s hand so they are too going to river. So, 6 parrots going to river.

So total 1 rabbit, 3 monkeys, and 6 parrots = 10 animals are going towards the river.

Answer is 10
